Archaeological Summer School: Prehistoric Erimi Pamboula, Cyprus 2027

Step into the Chalcolithic past with the excavation at Erimi Pamboula, one of Cyprus’s most exciting early prehistoric sites. Gain on-the-job training alongside the international team of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, while uncovering architecture, pottery, stone tools, and unique picrolite objects. Contribute to an active research project in a stunning Cypriot landscape.
This 3-week program offers archaeology students of any level and graduates of other disciplines real excavation experience and instruction (5 ECTS), including hands‑on learning guidance, formal lectures and tutorials by experts, visits to various archaeological sites, and local/regional Museums. Join us in the field and the excavations of the Archaeological Project of Erimi Pamboula (APEP) and help reveal a prehistoric community at the heart of Cyprus’s early Prehistory.
Cost: 2800 euros (tuition fees: 1800 euros -10% early bird until April 30; estim. 1000 euros for insurance, accommodation, subsistence and daily transportation)
